User data deletion
How to delete the data MisterCRM holds about you, including data received through Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Last updated: 5 October 2026
If you filled a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or messaged a business on WhatsApp
Your details were shared with the business that ran the ad or owns the WhatsApp number, and that business stores them in MisterCRM. You can ask for them to be deleted in either of these ways:
- Ask the business directly. It can delete your lead record and conversation from MisterCRM at any time.
- Ask us. Write to hello@mistercrm.com with the subject Data deletion request and include:
- your name;
- the phone number and/or email address you used;
- the name of the business, if you know it; and
- where you shared your details (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or a website form).
If you are a MisterCRM customer
- Disconnect an integration: in MisterCRM, open your Meta ad connection (Lead Capture → Ad Leads) or your WhatsApp account and delete it. Its access token is erased at once and no new data is received.
- Delete leads or conversations: admins can delete single leads or many at once from the Leads list.
- Close your whole account: write to hello@mistercrm.com from the account owner's email address.
Remove MisterCRM from your Facebook account
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find MisterCRM and click Remove.
This stops any further access. To also delete data already received, send us a request as described above.
What happens next
- We confirm that we have received your request within 7 days, and may ask a simple question to check the request is really from you.
- We delete the data, or have the business delete it, within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
- Deleted data is removed from our backups as they roll over, within 35 days.
- We may keep a small amount of data where the law requires it, such as invoices, and a note that your request was completed.
Read our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle your data.
